FRANK LAMPARD is facing the Wembley axe for the first time in his Chelsea career.
And he admitted: “I know I’m not an automatic selection with this manager.”The Blues have played 11 games at Wembley since the national stadium reopened in 2007 and Lamps has started every time.
But now the England midfielder, 34, is steeling himself to be on Rafa Benitez’s bench alongside skipper John Terry for tomorrow’s FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City.
With his contract due to expire this summer, Lampard said: “Things change.
“Automatic selection depends on how you’re playing, what manager you have and your relationship with him.

“But I’m not sure if I’m playing against City on Sunday. No one is.”
Lamps and Terry played 90 minutes against Rubin Kazan on Thursday.
