CARLO ANCELOTTI has hit back at David Beckham’s critics and vowed to stick by his veteran superstar.

There are claims that Beckham, 37, gets in the Paris Saint-Germain team only to please the club’s Arab owners because of his showbiz status.
Becks started Tuesday’s 2-2 Champions League draw with Barcelona.
And PSG boss Ancelotti said: “The criticism has been abnormal and unfair.
“Beckham played very well and he did exactly what I wanted in terms of the strategy. For me, Beckham played very well.
“I am not a supporter of Beckham, I am not a friend of Beckham. I try to be objective. Beckham is on the pitch because he deserves to play.
“I told him to play the ball quickly, to play the ball forward, to switch the play. He did exactly what I asked. I don’t understand the criticism
