RORY McILROY bounced back to form with second place in the Valero Texas Open.

The world No 2 shot a final round 66 — which included eight birdies — to finish two behind Scotland’s Martin Laird.
It was the perfect warm-up for The Masters, which starts on Thursday, and McIlroy said: “It’s been a great week and I’m really pleased with my game.”
Laird, 30, carded a last-round 63 at San Antonio to end on 14 under and win his third PGA Tour event.
