JUVENTUS midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini reckons his side can beat the odds to make the Champions League semi-finals.
But the Italians will have to make history to do it.They host German champions Bayern Munich tonight.
And they need to overturn a 2-0 deficit — something they have never done in Europe.
Giaccherini said: “We have to believe in ourselves, or we start already beaten.
“They have won the championship, they have a two-goal advantage and they are one of the strongest teams in the world.
“But we will give everything and try to overturn the result.”
Juve will have to do it without suspended pair Arturo Vidal and Stephan Lichtsteiner, who both started in Munich.
And striker Sebastian Giovinco is crocked. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon was benched on Saturday with flu but should return.
Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes said: “Buffon is part of footballing history.
“He is a legend, a fantastic man and an excellent goalkeeper.”
Heynckes is taking nothing for granted tonight, despite having a two-goal advantage.
He said: “Juventus are capable of anything.
“They are a top team. They are going to try and make the impossible possible.
“We will try to score to force Juventus to have to score four goals. We have experience and we know what to do.”
