NOVAK DJOKOVIC is a doubt for the French Open after suffering a serious ankle injury in a Davis Cup match against USA.

The Serbian world No 1 played in searing pain after twisting his right ankle early in his victory over Sam Querrey.
Djokovic admits he would have forfeited the match had he not been representing his country but won the last NINE games to seal a 7-5 6-7 6-1 6-0 win.
He said: “The injury couldn’t have happened at a worse moment.
“I felt pain with every motion and, had I not been playing for Serbia, I wouldn’t have carried on. It doesn’t look good.”
