MICHAEL LAUDRUP has a £10million price on his head.
That is how much it will cost the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal if they want to pinch Swansea’s Capital One Cup-winning boss. The new Swans contract Laudrup signed this month includes an eight-figure release clause to scare off all but the richest potential employers.
It is believed £3million of the buy-out would go to Laudrup.
The Great Dane is said to have agreed the whopping release clause and his share of it as part of a package which keeps his basic salary at around the same level — £700,000.
His new contract runs until 2015 but the Swans have lost their last THREE managers — Brendan Rodgers, Roberto Martinez and Paulo Sousa — to so-called bigger clubs and fear Laudrup may well follow in their footsteps
