THIS is the heartbreaking moment Mark Selby blows £23,500 — by missing the LAST black on a 147 attempt.
Selby had 140 on the board in the China Open but rattled the jaws with his maximum-deciding effort.
The UK and Masters champion would have received £20,000 from the tour plus a £3,500 cash bonus for the tournament’s top break.
But he still beat Mark King 5-1 to book a spot in the second round in Beijing.
The Jester from Leicester, 29, said: “I left myself a really tough black.
“It wasn’t nerves, it was just a tough shot and I missed.”
