hernandez-linked-with-summer-move-to-spain

Could Javier Hernandez leave Man United for Atletico Madrid?
Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is a summer target for Atletico Madrid, according to sources in Spain.
The Mexican star enjoyed a brilliant debut season at Old Trafford in 2010-11, becoming the first player since Ruud van Nistelrooy in 2001-02 to score 20 goals in his first campaign at the club.
He signed a new five-year contract in October 2011 to keep him at the club until 2016, but he has started just six Premier League games this season and has found himself behind Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck in the pecking order.
And he is now on Atletico’s radar.
The La Liga side expect the free-scoring Radamel Falcao, who has been heavily linked with Chelsea and Manchester City, to leave in the summer and they are already scouring the market for his replacement.
The Spaniards have two names in mind to succeed the Colombian, with Hernandez and Porto hitman Jackson Martinez at the top of their list.
Hernandez, 24, is Atletico's preferred choice, however, and they believe a bid in the region of £15m would be enough to prise him away from Old Trafford.
