Xabi Alonso excited by Decima quest

The Real Madrid midfielder says there will be a great atmosphere at the Bernabeu for the visit of Galatasaray as Jose Mourinho's side homes in on a 10th European crown
Xabi Alonso says Real Madrid is already dreaming of the Champions League final ahead of hosting Galatasaray in the first leg of their quarterfinal next week.

With a successful defense of La Liga now seemingly beyond Jose Mourinho's men, the club is focusing on tasting European glory for the first time in a decade but the 10th time in their history.

"Here at Madrid we are all looking forward to the Champions League and being able to make the final," the former Liverpool man told the club's official website.

Madrid has a league match at Zaragoza on Saturday but as it trails Barcelona by 13 points, attentions have already turned to the visit of the Turkish champions.

"We want to get a good result and I am sure it will be a good game with a great atmosphere," he added. "There are still several stages before the final and Wednesday is the first.

"The thing most of the fans said is that we have to get our 10th Champions League."
