Bayern make a Messi of Barca

JUPP HEYNCKES revealed he masterminded Bayern Munich’s thrashing of Barcelona with a PowerPoint presentation.

Lionel Messi and Co were stunned by the German giants, who all but sealed their place in next month’s Champions League final at Wembley.
Thomas Muller’s brace sandwiched controversial strikes from Mario Gomez and Arjen Robben at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern boss Heynckes said: “I realise the enormity of the occasion. If you win 4-0 against Barcelona it’s a fantastic performance by your team.
“It is very important that you analyse the opponent and know them perfectly and have a plan and discuss it with the players.
"What the boys did on the pitch and the tactical way they played was just fantastic.
“I analysed how Barcelona played and made a PowerPoint presentation for the players to see all the moves they make.
“My boys implemented the plan fantastically.
“In a semi-final it’s hugely important to keep a clean sheet.
“But we have to play for 90 minutes at the Nou Camp and after the return leg we will see if we are in the final or not.”
Barcelona No 2 Jordi Roura slammed blundering referee Viktor Kassai, who should have ruled out Gomez’s goal for offside and Robben’s strike for Muller’s blatant off-the-ball block on Jordi Alba.
Roura said: “It was clear the goals were illegal, both of them.
“During this Champions League we were not fortunate with the referees but we will not use the ref as an excuse as he did not determine the result.
“Bayern were superior and we congratulate them on the victory.”
