ARSENAL have appealed against Olivier Giroud’s red card for chopping down Fulham’s Stanislav Manolev.
Giroud was sent off in the dying stages of the Gunners’ 1-0 win at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger claimed after the match that the striker “slipped”.
The Emirates side have today lodged an appeal against the dismissal and a verdict is expected tomorrow.
